Mission
The
mission of BITSAA Pune Chapter is to organize the BITSians in and around
Pune city to create strong network of BITSians, promote their interest and
help them attain their professional, social. cultural goals.
Chapter Goals
- §Improve
networking among alumni and provide leverage to alumni in Pune in
attaining their social and career objectives
- Help
strengthen the BITS Pilani brand name and repay alma mater by
providing sponsorship for labs, for PS training, by providing industry
input to evolve curriculum
Managing
Committee
The
affairs of the chapter are organized and run by a committee elected
by the members of the chapter annually under the purview of the constitution

Raminder
Singh Virdi graduated from BITS, Pilani in the year 1974 with BE in
Mechanical. He started his career with Kirloskar Oil Engines. He later
worked extensively in South East Asia before starting a joint venture
with New Zealand company.
Pankaj
Khandelwal - Secretary

Pankaj
Khandelwal graduated from BITS, Pilani in the year 1997 with BE (Comp
Sci) and MSc (Maths). He has worked with Digital Equipment Corporation
and Veritas Software before founding Spartan Labs. Spartan Labs is an
embedded and systems design house based in Pune with customers in USA,
Europe and Australia. Other than technology, Pankaj is an avid
practitioner of yoga, meditation and martial arts.
